    Everyone nominated will receive a certificate in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the Australian nursing profession. Certificates will be posted to nominators for presentation to their nominee after the awards take place on

    Finalists will receive two tickets for them and a guest to attend the HESTA Australian Nursing Awards gala dinner, where the winners will be announced. The event will be held in Melbourne on 10 May 2012. Each finalist will also receive a trophy in recognition of their achievement.

      Overall winners will share in a $30,000 prize pool, courtesy of ME Bank. Graduate Nurse and Nurse of the Year winners will receive a $5,000 ME Bank EveryDay Transaction account and $5,000 towards further education. The Innovation in Nursing winner will receive $10,000 to further implement their program or initiative.
